Satan employs a number of ways to drag you away from winning salvation from Jesus and a false accuser, together with lies and slander are tools which separate birds of a feather from each other. A church encouraging you to disregard these signs is a church you want to leave. Good and bad fruit doesn’t grow on the same vine. Please note, a false accuser is one of the traits of one indwelled with a demon. Lies, slander, greed and dishonesty are the other indicators of someone possessed with a demon. Just FYI.
📖 The dictionary defines…
False Accuser (noun): One who wrongfully charges another with an offense or wrongdoing, without truth or evidence.
📖 False Accuser in Scripture
The dictionary points to wrongful charges. Scripture warns that false accusation is a grave sin, often used to persecute the innocent.
Anchors in Truth (three or more witnesses)
Exodus 23:1 — “You shall not spread a false report. You shall not join hands with a wicked man to be a malicious witness.”
1 Timothy 3:11 — “Their wives likewise must be dignified, not slanderers, but sober-minded, faithful in all things.”
Proverbs 19:5 — “A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who breathes out lies will not escape.”
Matthew 5:11 — “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.”
Red Flags of Warning (revealing the danger of false accusation)
Psalm 35:11 — “Malicious witnesses rise up; they ask me of things that I do not know.”
Daniel 6:13 — False accusers conspired against Daniel to destroy him.
Revelation 12:10 — “The accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.”
✨ Why This Matters to You
False accusation destroys lives and mirror the work of Satan, the accuser. Together with lies and slander these actions are the basis for identifying the demon possessed. Anchors in Truth call us to integrity, while Red Flags of Warning reveal the danger of aligning with lies. Only you can discern the difference and move toward Jesus and His beautiful message that isn’t filled with lies, slander and false accusations.
