Oh my gosh, is there anything worse than fraud which destroys your faith in humans. Someone who lies to rip you off or otherwise harm people by their actions. I don’t think so. Take the USA for example, does your preacher claim we (the USA) is a Christian nation. That’s fraud as a Christian nation would not starve their own people and cut off USAID to people around the world without notice. The selfish and the greedy are preying on the desperate and the needy and are you supporting this by directly opposing the teachings of Jesus? Look what scripture has to say about it.
📖 The dictionary defines…
Fraud (noun): Intentional deception made for personal gain or to damage another individual; includes false representation or concealment of truth.
📖 Fraud in Scripture
The dictionary points to deception for gain. Scripture condemns fraud as theft and injustice against neighbor and God.
Anchors in Truth (three or more witnesses)
Leviticus 19:11 — “You shall not steal; you shall not deal falsely; you shall not lie to one another.”
Proverbs 11:1 — “A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is his delight.”
Luke 3:13–14 — John the Baptist warned tax collectors and soldiers against fraud and extortion.
Jeremiah 17:11 — “Like the partridge that gathers a brood that she did not hatch, so is he who gets riches but not by justice.”
Red Flags of Warning (revealing the danger of fraud)
Ezekiel 22:29 — “The people of the land have practiced extortion and committed robbery. They have oppressed the poor and needy…”
Amos 8:5–7 — “We will make the ephah small and the shekel great and deal deceitfully with false balances…”
James 5:4 — “The wages of the laborers… which you kept back by fraud, are crying out against you.”
✨ Why This Matters to You
Fraud corrupts justice and destroys trust. Anchors in Truth call for honesty and fairness, while Red Flags of Warning reveal God’s judgment against exploitation. You need to ask yourself, “Why is my church encouraging me to support people who stand against the teachings of Jesus”? Pro 6:12-19 is quite clear about what is an abomination to God and yet we are being told to hate people different from us instead of what God actually hates. That’s fraud. You are being called back to Jesus. Eph 5:14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. Don’t be deceived any longer.
